Laura Partch

Administrative Officer

Laura works closely with the RWMF Program Director in supporting the work of two local Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs), the Santa Cruz Mid-County Groundwater Agency and the Santa Margarita Groundwater Agency. Creation of the GSAs was required by the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, enacted by the State of California in 2014. Laura’s work primarily involves grant compliance, agency administration, and support for the board of directors of each GSA.

Laura’s professional journey has included work with nonprofits and in the legal world, as both a legal secretary and an attorney. In 2018, Laura was beyond delighted to return to the nonprofit realm as the RWMF Administrative Officer.

Laura is very grateful for the opportunity to apply her skills to the critical issue of sustainable groundwater. She is also thrilled to work with her fabulous CFSCC colleagues, all of whom are focused on doing great work in Santa Cruz County.
