Borina Nonprofit Resource Center

We are a Funding Information Network partner of the Foundation Center.

Supported by a gift from the Borina Foundation, we are part of a nationwide network of community foundations, libraries and other centers helping nonprofits and individual grantseekers.

What's Available?

  • The Foundation Center’s core collection of proposal-writing guides and research reports on trends and patterns of giving by U.S. grantmakers, plus our own library of nearly 800 titles, searchable by title, author or keyword.
  • Free access on six computer stations to Foundation Directory Online Professional, with detailed profiles of all active U.S. grantmakers.
  • Free access to Foundation Grants to Individuals Online,  listing foundations funding artists, students, researchers and other individual grantseekers
  • Free access to Philanthropy In/Sight®, an interactive mapping tool that combines the Foundation Center's data on grantmakers and their grants with familiar Google maps.

Can I Check Out Materials?

Sorry, no. This is a non-lending research library. However, we have a comfortable space for you to read and do research.

Who Can Use the Library, When and Where are You?

You can use the library. It's free and open to the public during our regular business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is at the Community Foundation.
