Senior Water Resource Planner

The Regional Water Management Foundation, a subsidiary of the Community Foundation, seeks an experienced planning professional to lead the development of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan for the newly established Santa Cruz Mid-County Groundwater Agency. 

General Description

The senior planner is a full-time, exempt, position of the Community Foundation. This position will continue through the completion of the Groundwater Sustainability Plan, which is anticipated to take at least two years. Upon completion of the plan, the role of the senior planner will be assessed. The senior planner reports to the the executive team of the Groundwater Agency, with an office space at the Soquel Creek Water District.

The senior planner will play a lead role in the development of the plan that outlines a course to achieve groundwater sustainability in the Mid-County basin within 20 years.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefit package.

Building Steward

Join our team as one of our building stewards, responsible for managing scheduled evening and weekend use of our center by community groups.

General Description

This person reports to the office manager and is responsible for being on-site to open, close and secure the building during scheduled evening or weekend meetings and events by community groups.

You must have experience with audio visual equipment, have the available time to meet changing scheduling needs, maintain a professional appearance and have reliable transportation.

This paid position offer compensation commensurate with experience in the range of $12-$15/hour.
