Program Assistant

This full-time position is exempt from overtime and reports directly to the grants manager, under the supervision of the program director. The program assistant is a key participant helping the program team achieve its goals.

General Description

Responsibilities are divided between grantmaking (approximately 65%) and administrative support duties (35%). These include grants management, tracking, reporting, research and data entry. The position requires that qualified candidates hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with nonprofit, philanthropic or public sector experience preferred.

Compensation is competitive with comparable positions, approximately $18 to $20/hour, with an excellent benefit package.

Building Steward

Join our team as one of our building stewards, responsible for managing scheduled evening and weekend use of our center by community groups.

General Description

This person reports to the office manager and is responsible for being on-site to open, close and secure the building during scheduled evening or weekend meetings and events by community groups.

You must have experience with audio visual equipment, have the available time to meet changing scheduling needs, maintain a professional appearance and have reliable transportation.

This paid position offer compensation commensurate with experience in the range of $12-$15/hour.
