Our Building

The Jack & Peggy Baskin Center for Philanthropy received Gold Level Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, a nationally accepted benchmark for high-performance green buildings. It is also certified as a local green business by the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program.

In addition, the center has won numerous architectural awards including:

  • AIA California Council, Merit Award for Architecture, 2012
  • AIA San Francisco, Excellence in Architecture Honor Award, 2012
  • Chicago Athenaeum Museum, Green Good Design Award, 2011
  • Chicago Athenaeum Museum, International Architecture Award, 2011
