Santa Cruz County Scholarship Endowment
The Santa Cruz County Scholarship Endowment is a community scholarship fund that exists to benefit students of our region forever. It gives you, your business, family, or friends the option to support the higher education costs facing local students without having to administer a small scholarship fund or foundation on your own. Gifts of all amounts, large or small, can be given to the Scholarship Endowment in your own name or the name of a loved one, teacher, or someone else who inspires you to give back.
In 2026, three students were awarded four-year scholarships of $1,000 per year. They are all the first in their families to attend college and will studying at Cabrillo College, San Francisco State, and CSU Monterey Bay.
One awardee shared, “This award will help me fully immerse myself in my college education, pursuing my desired career path without the worry of being limited to activities due to my financial status.”
"If my contribution can make higher education possible for just one student, I will be happy. I would like to think of myself as a "Bonus" grandparent for someone. My own grandchildren have had good luck in their lives and can enjoy college without financial stress. Why not pay it forward?"
