Funds for Arts, History & Culture

An endowed fund to promote our community's vibrant artistic life and education, cultural activities, and rich history.

Why This Matters

We are committed to sustaining our robust and diverse arts community. The arts help us to reflect on our lives, understand each other, experience humanity in all its beauty, discuss contemporary issues, and feel the joy of creativity.

About the Fund

We partner with the Arts Council Santa Cruz County in our grantmaking and give funds to diverse organizations across many forms: visual, performing, symphonic, cultural, dance, poetry, and to arts education.

This endowed fund supports programs that:

  • Support the creation and presentation of artistically excellent work
  • Increase the success of artists and the sustainability of arts organizations
  • Expand equitable access to the arts
  • Engage new audiences in the arts
  • Increase social impact through art

We are proud supporters of many of the outstanding arts organizations that make Santa Cruz County a special place. From the Kuumbwa Jazz Center to the Watsonville Film Festival, the Santa Cruz Symphony, Senderos, the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (aka the MAH), the San Lorenzo Valley Museum, the Pajaro Valley Arts Gallery, and many more, we support the arts across our county.
