Why This Matters
Many of us are drawn to Santa Cruz County because of its unique natural environment and incredible beauty. This fund has supported programs that build environmental stewardship in youth, like the O’Neill Sea Odyssey, Coastal Watershed Council, Watsonville Wetlands Watch, and Life Lab.
About the Fund
This endowed fund is for watershed-to-the-sea water issues, including land, forest, and wetland preservation, air quality improvement, fish and wildlife, parks and recreation, urban design, and environmental education. The fund has also made grants for restoration projects in our coastal zone.
