Why This Matters

The needs and the dreams of residents of the San Lorenzo Valley are distinct from other parts of Santa Cruz County. This fund was started by, and for, residents of SLV. The goal is to inspire giving to a permanently endowed fund to address San Lorenzo Valley needs now and into the future.

About the Fund

The Fund for the Future of the San Lorenzo Valley supports the Valley and nearby mountain and north coast communities of Santa Cruz County. When community donors give to the fund, it gets invested. Each year, the investment earnings get granted to local nonprofits focusing services on San Lorenzo Valley residents. Since 2004, the fund has made grants to nonprofit partners that include Mountain Community Resources, Valley Women's Club, Mountain Parks Foundation,and Valley Churches United..
