Help people obtain basic services and reach self-reliance

Fund for Human Services

Many of us haven't had to go hungry. Yet, food insecurity is a real problem for 1-in-4 children in our county. Shelter and stable housing remain far from reach for many of our neighbors living in substandard housing, on the brink of homelessness, or experiencing homelessness.

About the Fund

This fund supports high performing organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank, Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes, Catholic Charities, Homeless Services Center, Pajaro Valley Shelter Services, and Community Action Board in their work to alleviate the stress of those struggling to meet basic needs. These organizations help individuals and families obtain basic services such as food, shelter, and safety and become self-reliant.
