Why This Matters

This fund supports our work to help nonprofits effectively achieve their missions and to support community members in their personal giving. Annually, about a third of our operating budget is raised through the generosity of Friends of the Foundation.

About the Fund

Each year, our donors support hundreds of causes and charities in Santa Cruz County and beyond. Since 1982, we've made more than $224 million in grants and scholarships. We offer wise investment strategies, local expertise about community issues, and first-class donor services. This fund supports our ability to be the local hub of philanthropy and generosity.
