Board Connect Mixer

Join us for this peer‑to‑peer gathering designed for prospective
board members to connect with trustees of nonprofits seeking new board
members. Guests will hear directly from fellow board members about their
experiences, the rewards of board service, and why they choose to give
back through leadership. Current board members are welcome to bring one
nonprofit staff member from their organization to join the conversation.
Guests will learn more about putting their experience and skills to
work for the benefit of our community, while nonprofits share about
their board vacancies and other volunteer opportunities. Local
nonprofits and their board members in attendance will offer testimonials
on the rewards and value of giving back through board service. Director
of Engagement & Impact Kevin Heuer will offer tips for effective
board service.
