Since our founding in 1982, the Foundation has been committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of personal information entrusted to us by current donors, potential donors, and the board members and staff of nonprofit agencies who approach us for funding or management support.
The Foundation will protect donors’ rights to privacy (including anonymity) and not disclose privileged or confidential information to unauthorized parties.
Similarly, when making a contribution or registering for a workshop online, in person, by fax or by mail the Foundation will keep all information confidential.
The Foundation will not share, sell, trade or rent personal information, including addresses, phone numbers or other contact information, to others.
The Foundation will exercise discretion in use of information about organizations and donors learned through the grantmaking and asset development process.
The Foundation will ensure that all information technology systems operate to protect the confidentiality of Foundation donors, grantees, applicants, staff and board members, and that such information cannot be invaded or distributed to unauthorized users.
The Foundation will not disclose any confidential information, except to the extent required by law or legal process.
The Foundation has put into effect appropriate procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. The information provided to us by filling out online forms is located on a secure server.
The secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. All of the online data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
As a community service, the Foundation provides links to the Web sites for various nonprofits and nonprofit resources. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Foundation makes no representations whatsoever concerning the content of those sites.
