The Emmett and Elsie Geiser Scholarship

Background

Both Emmett and Elsie Geiser spent their careers in education and were committed to the students of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District. Emmett was involved in athletics as a coach at Watsonville High School, where the stadium is named after him. In her will, Elsie Geiser established this endowed scholarship at the Foundation.

Scholarship Opportunity

In 2008, two scholarships in the amount of $850 will be awarded to outstanding athletes graduating from Aptos, Pajaro Valley or Watsonville High Schools. These awards are renewable for up to three years. Although financial need is considered, it is not the determining factor.
