Santa Cruz County BoardMatch

“BoardMatch provided me the foundation to successfully move into board service.  Their "speed dating" method of introducing us to local nonprofits was fun and successful. What a great program!”
       – Sloan Devoto, Realtor, David Lyng Real Estate and new board member at the Museum of Art & History @  the McPherson Center

BoardMatch benefits nonprofits, businesses, and individuals by helping local people learn about board service and by connecting them to organizations serving the causes they care about.

BoardMatch consists of three evening sessions (a total of 6½ hours) that offers an overview of the local nonprofit sector, explores some of the challenges and opportunities facing local nonprofit leaders, and provides you with the basic tools to serve effectively as a new board member.

Plus, we'll do the work to help you find the right organization that matches your interest and skills.

Note: Participants must register to attend all three sessions. They cannot be taken as single sessions.

Nonprofits: Learn what you need to gain potential board members!
