“BoardMatch provided me the foundation to successfully move into board service. Their "speed dating" method of introducing us to local nonprofits was both fun and successful. What a great program!”
– Sloan Devoto, Realtor, David Lyng Real Estate and new board member at the Museum of Art & History @ the McPherson Center
BoardMatch is designed to benefit nonprofits, businesses, and individuals by helping local people learn about board service and by connecting them to organizations serving the causes they care about.
The Foundation has joined forces with local partners to design a program of three evening sessions (a total of 7½ hours) that offers an overview of the local nonprofit sector, explores some of the challenges and opportunities facing local nonprofit leaders, and provides you with the basic tools to serve effectively as a new board member.
Plus, we'll do the work to help you find the right organization that matches your interest and skills.
Note: Participants must register to attend all three sessions. They cannot be taken as single sessions.
