Scholarships

January 20, 2010 – We are now accepting scholarship applications for the 2010–2011 academic year.

In 2009, we awarded $40,150 to twelve deserving students, along with a separate award through
the Matt's Climb Scholarship.

We manage several scholarship funds, established by donors, to help Santa Cruz County
students wishing to continue their education beyond the high school level.

Each scholarship has its own eligibility criteria. Please review the guidelines and the
information on the pages below before filling out the application.


How to Apply

The Foundation has one common scholarship application that is used to apply for all
scholarships (expect the Matt's Climb Scholarship).

Application must be postmarked no later than Friday, March 5, 2010.

Award decisions will be announced in May.

The Foundation's scholarships are administered by Scholarship Management Services,
a department of Scholarship America.  Scholarship America is a national nonprofit
educational support and student aid service organization that seeks to expand educational
opportunities and encourage educational achievement.  Awards are granted without regard
to race, color, creed, religion, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
