Scholarships

June 26, 2008 – The Foundation has announced the award of 2008 scholarships to twelve students. Award amounts range from one-time awards of $750 to multi-year awards of $2,250.  In total, the Foundation awarded $37,800 in scholarships, plus the separate award through the Matt's Climb Scholarship.

The Foundation manages several scholarship funds available to Santa Cruz County students wishing to continue their education at a community college, vocational college, or four-year university.

Application Process and Deadlines


The Foundation is no longer accepting scholarship applications for 2008. The Foundation will announce the 2009 scholarship opportunities by January 2009.

The Foundation's scholarships are administered by Scholarship Management Services, a department of Scholarship America.  Scholarship America is a national nonprofit educational support and student aid service organization that seeks to expand educational opportunities and encourage educational achievement.  Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
