Diversity Partnership Fund

The Diversity Partnership Fund (DPF) is an endowment to strengthen alliances, promote respect, and enhance services for Santa Cruz County’s LGBT Community.

Thanks to the hard work of DPF Co-Chairs, Clare Sheils and Margaret Leonard, the Fund is nearing the $700,000 mark toward its goal of $1 million.

The DPF is a permanent endowed fund at the Foundation. Its purpose is to be a lasting funding resource for grants to LGBT-serving organizations. The Fund is invested for long-term growth in a Socially Responsible Investment pool and a portion of its earnings is used each year to support Diversity Partnership grantmaking. Until the $1 million mark is reached, the earnings are augmented by an annual fundraising campaign.

You can support the Partnership in two ways. 

  1. A gift to the Diversity Partnership Fund will build a permanent funding resource for the LGBT Community.
  2. A gift to the Grantmaking Pool will support LGBT grants in the coming year, while we work toward our $1 million endowment
