Jim and Barabara Thompson

December 15, 2009 – Every wedding anniversary, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas since 2002, honorary trustee Jim Thompson adds to his wife Barbara's scholarship fund at the Foundation. Why? "Because it's important to her," Jim said simply. Barbara served for many years on the Santa Cruz City School Board and is passionate about education. She makes a point of attending the graduation ceremony of every student that receives a scholarship from her fund and is always there to hand out the award.
