The Foundation supports and strengthens the management skills of local nonprofit staff and board leaders, public sector agencies, and community groups by providing opportunities for learning and improvement. |
The Foundation offers a regular schedule of workshops in Board Governance and Executive Leadership, Fund Development, Management and Planning, and Communications and Marketing.
Support for these workshops is provided through the generous contributions of individual donors and our business and corporate partners.

We are a member of a nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies.

| Our Resource Library provides visitors with free public access to the Foundation Center's core collection, plus our own collection of grantmaker directories, books and videos on fundraising, board development, executive leadership, marketing and communications and nonprofit management. >>Learn more | The resource library is open to the public during the Foundation's regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Foundation offers free short-term consultation by phone or by appointment to board and staff members of local nonprofit organizations and community groups.
The Foundation also maintains a database of nonprofit consultants. We can share the names and contact information of consultants working in various areas of nonprofit management.
