The Jack & Peggy Baskin Center for Philanthropy

The Foundation was started in 1982, as a permanent resource for philanthropy in Santa Cruz County.

The center connects local donors, nonprofit organizations and professional advisors to the resources they need to make charitable giving more rewarding and effective.

The Foundation's board chose Mark Cavagnero Associates of San Francisco to design a sustainable green building that allows for growth.

Our project team, led by Devcon Construction, built the 9,200 square foot facility.

We moved into the center in October 2010. It opened to the public in January 2011.

It has since received a Gold Level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
