The Resource Library

The Foundation is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center.

We are a member of a nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies.

What is Available?

Our Resource Library serves the nonprofit sector. It provides visitors with free public access to the Foundation Center's core collection, plus our own collection of  over 800 titles that include grantmaker directories, books, periodicals and videos on fundraising, board development, executive leadership, marketing and communications and nonprofit management.

Visitors have free access to the Foundation Center's electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online Professional, available on two computer terminals. This fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation's top funders.

We also have Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, where you can research more than 6,200 foundation and public charity programs that fund artists, students, researchers, and other individual grantseekers.

The Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals Online are available to visitors on a walk-in basis. To guarantee access to either database when you arrive, visitors can schedule and reserve a three hour time-slot by calling 477-0800 or emailing anna@cfscc.org.
