A place where you—our donors, professional advisors and our local nonprofit organizations—can meet and work together.

Our Donors Made It Happen

With a lead gift from Jack & Peggy Baskin and contributions from nearly 60 donors, we opened the center in October 2010.

Community Use and Resources

With over half the building available for community use, local nonprofit organizations can reserve a room for daytime, evening or weekend meetings and events.

The center houses the Borina Nonprofit Resource Center, offering workshops and a library with two online grants databases.

Sustainable Green Design

The building was designed by Mark Cavagnero Associates. It has won numerous architectural awards for its sustainable green design.

Our project team, led by Devcon Construction, built the 9,200 square foot facility. It employed over 130 people during its construction, in the middle of a major recession.

The center received Gold Level certification as awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, a nationally accepted benchmark for high performance green buildings.

It is also certified as a local green business by the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program
