Workshop Fees, Discounts, Refunds & Meals

Attending one of our workshops is easy on your budget!

We cover a large percentage of the workshop costs to make them affordable to you. Just compare our prices to other providers! Plus, we offer early bird discounts on every session that has a fee, for additional savings. 

We also know plans change and sometimes you need to cancel. Read the cancellation and refund policy below to see how it works.


How to Register

To attend any of our workshops for nonprofits, you must register and pay in advance. 

Register online using Eventbrite, by following the link at the bottom of each workshop description on our website or by going directly to Eventbrite

For workshops with a fee, you can pay using a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). If you have any questions or problems with online registration, call us at 831.662.2031.

Generally, we do not accept purchase orders, payment at the door or other kinds of reservations in lieu of payment.


Discounts

We cover a large percentage of the workshop costs, with discounts already built into the price. Whether you attend alone or with a team, you can save an additional 10% to 50% on every workshop (with a fee) through early bird registration. Register and pay by the early bird discount deadline date for any workshop (with a fee) for maximum savings.

No other individual or group discounts (or workshop scholarships) are provided.


Refunds

If You Registered Online

If you need to cancel for any reason you can receive a full refund if you registered online through Eventbrite.

To receive a full refund you must notify us by phone (831.662.2031) or email no less three full business days (72 hours) prior to the scheduled workshop date for which you paid, unless otherwise noted. 

You should receive your refund within 2 business days.

Refunds may not be available for workshops that include special vendor purchases on your behalf, like a book or other materials. Any whole or partial refund will be determined by the Community Foundation.

No refunds or credit for future workshops are given for missed workshops or for cancellations received within 72 hours of the scheduled workshop date.


If You Registered by Check or Cash

If you need to cancel for any reason you can receive a refund minus a $15 administrative processing fee. 

Workshops for which you paid a registration fee of $15 or less are not eligible for refunds if you paid by check or cash.

To receive a partial refund you must notify us of your cancellation by phone (831.662.2031) or email no less three full business days (72 hours) prior to the scheduled workshop date, unless otherwise noted.

Refunds will be issued by check and sent within 30 days.

If We Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel any workshop. If we cancel, you'll receive a full refund within 30 days. We reserve the right to substitute workshop presenters. 


Meals

For all evening workshops that begin after 5:00 p.m., we generally offer a light meal that includes vegetarian options. See the workshop description for details.

For workshops that begin before 10:00 a.m., we generally offer coffee, tea and water and provide light morning snacks. See the workshop description for details.

Lunches are not included for daytime workshops, in order to keep your workshop fees as low as possible, unless otherwise noted in the workshop description. Lunch breaks and a list of nearby eateries will be provided.

Whether meals are offered or not, or if you have special dietary needs, we encourage you to bring your own food with you.
