Santa Cruz County Community Data Mapping Project

Online tool local leaders can use.
An online tool you can use.

Zero in to map trends shaping our county!

The online data mapping tool at HealthyCity.org lets you track social, economic and demographic patterns shaping our county.

Healthy City, is part of the Advancement Project, an “information + action resource that unites community voices, using rigorous research and innovative technologies to solve the root causes of social inequity.”

HealthyCity.org uses infographics, along with brief summary reports, to illustrate the data and make it useful to you. You can use the online tool to create your own maps and charts.

The local data, together with existing reports like the Community Assessment Project, offers community leaders, nonprofits and public agencies with information to map the needs of local residents.

The project was supported by a grant to the Community Foundation from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.

Planning, design and outreach was done in partnership with the City of Santa Cruz, City of Watsonville, Driscoll's, First 5 Santa Cruz County, Monterey Peninsula Foundation, Pajaro Valley Community Health Trust,  Human Services Department County of Santa Cruz and the United Way of Santa Cruz County.
